Join the incredible journey of Al and Ian as they take on the monumental 'Scilly Swim Challenge' in support of WaterAid
Together, we can make a lasting impact by providing clean water, decent toilets, and vital hygiene knowledge to those who desperately need it.
For what we take for granted, there's still a shocking need for urgent action across the world:
• 771 million people lack access to clean water in their vicinity.
• Over 1.7 billion people - more than one in five on our planet - live without a decent toilet of their own.
• Heartbreakingly, dirty water and poor sanitation claim the life of one child under the age of 5 every two minutes.
On Saturday 9th September 2023, Al and Ian will embark on the Scilly Swim Challenge, an iconic 15km (9+ miles) staged-swim between the enchanting islands of Scilly. This awe-inspiring feat involves six exhilarating swims and walks, all to be accomplished in one unforgettable day. Picture the breathtaking backdrop of the islands, the ever-changing and sometimes formidable sea conditions, and the enriching experience that awaits!
With unwavering dedication, Al and Ian have been finding some time to train hard and will continue to do so in the coming weeks before the event. Now, it's your turn to support their incredible efforts for WaterAid. Whether you can contribute a little or a lot, every single donation will go a long way in ensuring that clean water and sanitation becomes a reality for everyone, enabling them to lead healthier and more dignified lives.
Together, we have the power to transform countless lives. Support Al and Ian's mission for WaterAid today and be a part of the change we wish to see in the world.
