Story

Ashton KCJ Solicitors are proud to support the St Nicholas Hospice Girls Night Out Sponsored Walk once again on 13 September.  This event is now in its sixth year and Ashton KCJ have entered a team for all of the six walks.  This year we have 18 ladies from our Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Thetford and Norwich offices taking part - they cannot wait to don their flashing bunny ears and pyjamas to raise funds for a very good cause, supporting a local charity and to also have an enjoyable night out.    Last year 1027 ladies took part and raised over £115,00 for the Hospice.  If you would like to come along and support our team on their 11.2 mile walk which meanders through Bury St Edmunds, it all starts on the Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds from 7pm.

This year the Hospice celebrates its pearl anniversary; 30 years of care across West Suffolk and Thetford providing emotional and physical support to more than 400 families at any one time, helping to maximise their quality of life.  The Hospice provides care to local people and their families living with an illness that is life threatening such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, heart or lung disease – offering everything from a soothing head massage, to advice on benefits to specialist clinical care.   St Nicholas Hospice is a special place with a warm caring atmosphere - £11,000 a day is needed a day to provide the specialist services and bereavement care.  So any sponsorship will be much appreciated.  Thank You.
