Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The aka HOPE project is run by Aberdeen Citadel Salvation Army Youth group, using the resources of the Aberdeen community to assist the work in Kenya, headed up by the former Aberdeen Grammar School pupil, Richard Bradbury.

We hope, through various activities, to raise awareness of the issues and generate resources to assist the work of TSA in Kenya to bring Hope to consumers of the services.

The Salvation Army in Kenya East works extensively to bring hope and love to those in need. Specific projects and programs being worked on in 2013 include Kabete Children's Home in Nairobi as well Joytown Special Unit and Njoro School, which are both centres for children with severe mental and physical disabilities. The Salvation Army is also working on various water projects, a mobile health clinic in the Nairobi slums and livestock (goat/chicken) projects to help make our institutions more sustainable.
