On the 4th August 2020, an enormous explosion in Beirut, Lebanon, killed more than 150 people and injured more than 5000 others. Let us not forget the 300,000 people who have become homeless as a consequence. Penny Appeal are working in Beirut to provide life-saving aid, including medical assistance and blood supplies. I am here to assist with their aid work on the ground and share with you my personal eyewitness account of people’s real  conditions.
