The National Three Peaks Challenge · 23 October 2015

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Friends,  thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A few days back, I came to know about an event called National Three Peaks Challenge. This basically involves climbing three peaks in England, Wales and Scotland within 24 hours. The three mountains are: Snowdon in Wales (1085m), Scafell Pike in England (978m) and Ben Nevis in Scotland (1344m).

I have signed up for this event mainly for two reasons:

1) It is in support of a wonderful charity - The Prince's Trust - which is helping young people facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems or have been in trouble with the law. The trust provides young people a second chance by giving them the support they need to stabilise their lives.

2) People who know me well, knows that I am not the most physically active person around !. So this is a personal challenge for me as well, to get off my back, get fit, all in the name of a good cause :-)

I would appreciate your encouragement in this effort and also would request you to support the charity through your donations.

Thank You

Ajith.
