Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am am adding a special request for this time of extreme need. St. John Ambulance is escalating their response to COVID-19. They have unveiled a series of measures to support NHS and the public as England battles the cornavirus outbreak.
St. John Ambulance is deploying its volunteers to hospital emergency departments and the charity's ambulances and highly trained crews are being put at the health service's disposal.
I know that everyone worldwide is being put in extreme situations with this pandemic. If you could in any way help St. John Ambulance support their mission, please feel free to make a much-needed donation.
I cannot wait to get to the London Marathon to thank everyone of the workers and volunteers who have pushed themselves during these ties.
Thank you!

Have I bitten off more than I can handle? Maybe, but I truly hope not.
Let me explain...
I have been chosen to represent St. John Ambulance with a charity entry in the London Marathon. Why is this extraordinary? I live in the United States of America. Yep, this American is planning on traveling to Great Britain in April 2020 to run 26.2 miles around London!
Why St. John Ambulance? That is simple. They can have the most influence on people like me who will be running the London Marathon. They also have an awareness of Adrenal Insufficiency and have a protocol to save those like me that live in Great Britain. How can you not support this charity?!?!

This is scheduled to be my fourth marathon, but first outside the United States. This is a huge undertaking financially and physically.
Why would I do such a crazy thing?
I am encouraging, through my running, the people with Adrenal Insufficiency and parents of children with Adrenal Insufficiency to believe they are able to do whatever they set their minds to do.
Since 2016, as the Adrenal Insufficient Warrior Athlete I have been encouraging and creating awareness of Adrenal Insufficiency. On top of that I have salt-wasting adrenal insufficiency. The salt-wasting aspect makes what I do a little more difficult, but I have learned to manage how I do running, especially marathons.
My followers are worldwide, but those in the United States have had the opportunity to personally follow and meet me. When the announcement for the London Marathon applications opened, I saw the chance to take the Adrenal Insufficiency Warrior Athlete internationally. I know there are plenty of families in Great Britain who follow along that were excited to find out I have the plans to come to London for the London Marathon in April 2020.
