Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our little pudding Lily was the brightest and most determined little girl. A real fighter and although she was only with us for 6 and a half months she touched so many lives.

This Christmas we are asking people to donate a few euro in Lily's memory to help us continue to help The Lily Foundation prevent other children from the awful harsh reality of Mitochondrial disease. We would do anything to get our girl back and although we cant, we do want to try make sure other families don't have to hear the words we were told - no treatment, no cure, life limiting.

Thank you so much. Every little really does help.

The Lily Foundation was founded in Lily's memory, having lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old. The charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families that face the challenges of this disease today.Did you know every twenty minutes a child is born who will develop Mitochondrial Disease by the age of 16! There is no cure for this disease which is for many, debilitating and life limiting. Please stand with us and fight Mitochondrial Disease and fight for hope.
