Story
In August, several of my colleagues and I will be taking part
in the 4 Peaks Challenge which involves scaling the 4 of the highest mountains
in the UK within a 48-hour time limit.
The challenge will start at Ben Nevis in Scotland, before
heading to Scafell Pike in England, Snowden in Wales, and Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland.
Managing to complete this challenge in the time limit will
be extremely challenging, both physically and mentally, but we will all be highly motivated to raise funds for the Advanta Foundation.
The funds raised will be donated to the following children’s charities:
* Scotland - Ashton Secondary School. The school caters for pupils with a wide range of barriers to learning.

* England - Create a Dream. A charity setup to help seriously ill children and young people in the Sheffield and South Yorkshire region. The foundation helps to make their dreams come true by helping to fund gifts and experiences.

* Wales - Latch. Supports the children and their families who are being treated by the Oncology Unit at the Children's Hospital of Wales.

* Northern Ireland - Action for Children. They protect and support children and young people by providing practical and emotion care and support.

The Advanta Foundation raises funds to support children
equally across the UK and Africa who are in desperate need of help and support. To date, the Foundation has raised over £500,000 and we are aiming to add to this by taking part in the 4 Peaks Challenge
Any donations and support would be greatly
appreciated, thank you :-)
