In August 2015 I will be going to Uganda for 3 months with Restless Development who are a non governmental organisation that seek to address and highlight the problems young people face in the world, focusing on the disadvantaged and the disenfranchised. I'm chuffed to have been chosen to work with this organisation. 

The main objectives of my Uganda placement are:

1) Civic Participation -To ensure young people are significant contributors to the development process. Highlighting their potential in becoming leaders in their own community.

2) Livelihoods and Employment- To help and empower young people by creating employment workshops where they will learn how to apply for jobs and seek out opportunities within and outside their communities. 

3) Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights- To ensure that you people are engaging in safe sexual and reproductive practises that lead to healthy lives. Working directly with those affected by HIV/AIDS. 

This is where I need your help. I need to raise £800 before I depart on this life changing journey. This is not a gap yaah, I will be working 6 days a week, I will be using my skills to help a community while learning and gaining new life experiences. The money you donate will be put back into the charity to keep programs like this running successfully also to give young people like me a chance to make a change. Dig deep people and help a sister who wants to help others.
