Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In October 2022 Elekta will celebrate its 50th birthday. For fifty years we have been driven to deliver cutting-edge, precision radiation therapy, to openly collaborate and help clinicians provide the best possible life outcomes for every patient—building hope for everyone dealing with cancer, together. Our charity partner here in Crawley, West Sussex, is St Catherine's Hospice. St Catherine's ambition is to help everyone face death informed, supported and pain free. Providing expert hospice care, they are there for people in West Sussex and East Surrey when life comes full circle. Since the pandemic they have had to drastically reduce their services. Reliant solely on donations and no government income, there has never been a more important time to give back to our community. Along with a team of colleagues, I will be abseiling down the Emirates Spinnaker tower on Saturday 3 September - a 100 metre descent down the side of Portsmouth’s iconic landmark. Please help me make a difference and support those in need of end of life care.

The hospice relies on donations to offer pioneering end of life care and support to people in Sussex and East Surrey. Any donation you can give will mean a lot to me and make a direct difference to families facing terminal illness. St Catherine’s has never needed our support more. Together, let’s make sure the hospice can continue to provide vital
