Dear family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, readers, fellow humans with good hearts (and pockets),

We are taking part in a sponsored night walk across the most iconic bridges in London to help raise vital funds for pregnant Syrian refugee women and their new-born babies. The money we raise will go towards providing medical care and basic mother & baby essentials. 

Even for those who are in refugee camps set up by international aid agencies or governments, the lack of medical facilities and financial support causes the birth of a child to be immensely stressful, and risks endangering both the life of a mother and the child.

We are aiming to raise a total of £300 (£100 per person). Your donation can make a huge difference towards covering the following costs:

£25 - baby milk supply for one month

£150 - mother and baby essentials

£600 - cost of birth and after care

£100 - cost of running a birth clinic for one month

We cannot imagine how difficult living conditions for these people are or for how long this will be, no matter how far across the world they may be. We would be very grateful if you could help with any or every little that you can.
