Story
A combination of peer pressure and the fact that ActionAid is such a brilliant charity have convinced me that jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft is a good thing to do. So, on 14 April in Oxfordshire, I’ll be joining a whole team of ActionAid staff to do just that!
Those of you who know me well will know I’m all about the disasters, and this is a great opportunity to raise money for ActionAid’s working helping people to prepare for emergencies and ensure they’re able to protect their homes, belongings and loved ones. It’s a great cause, so please donate whatever you can.
For those who think this is a ruse to get you to pay for me to do something fun that I’ve always wanted to do, rest assured that I am genuinely pretty terrified about this, which means your donations will be the only incentive I have not to hide under my duvet on the big day!
What’s more, your money will be matched pound for pound by the lovely UK government as part of ActionAid’s Ready for Anything Appeal which runs until 3 May this year.
Thanks for all your support!
