Story
No matter how much you do, physical activity is good for your body and mind. Being active is one of the five ways to well being and adults should aim to be active every day.
To motivate our team to keep moving and raise much needed funds for Southport Soup Kitchen, we have signed up to a workplace step challenge. Pledging to each take 300,000 steps throughout the month of March. That is MILLIONS of steps together.
The "Soupie" haven't been able to accept donations of food for many months due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. This has made their efforts to support local people and their families even more difficult. Monetary donations are now absolutely vital in order to provide vouchers for those in need to buy food and essentials from local supermarkets.
We sincerely appreciate all donations that will help Southport Soup Kitchen continue to provide warm food, a place to rest and good company for the disadvantaged of Southport.
