Raising much needed funds for Northern Ireland Hospice because of the dedicated care given to our Mum
In Memory of our Mum - Assumpta Taggart.
We are taking part in NI Hospice Virtual Marathon on Sunday 18th April.
A beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, sister & a great friend to many, who passed away at the age of 66 years after a short but devastating battle with an aggressive cancer. A wonderful, kind, caring, loving, and strong woman are all words to describe Mum and traits that we all hugely admired.
Fast approaching Mum's first Anniversary on 31st May, we would like to help raise much needed funds in order to help other local families get the care and support they need at such a difficult time.
COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on NI Hospice funding, but despite the challenges that they have faced - They continue to provide outstanding care to people during the most difficult times. This year more than ever they need the support of the local community.
NI Hospice is a local charity- who provide symptom management, end of life palliative care, specialist rehabilitation and respite care for families. 90% of the care NI Hospice provides is at family homes.
Unfortunately, we as a family know this first-hand and we are eternally grateful for the support, help and advice which we were offered for Mum throughout her illness at home.
* Charities pay a small fee for our service. Find out how much it is and what we do for it.
