We fund specialist items & activities to enhance the lives of disabled children

Story

In 2010 my beautiful niece Roxy was unexpectedly born with cerebral palsy.  From the second  she was born, she touched all of our hearts. Her diagnosis reflected a very uncertain future and each day I see her struggle to do the day to day things that I do without thinking about it.  She is so determined and shows such courage. This is the reason I am going to attempt to run the Robin Hood Half Marathon and I am doing it to raise money for a charity set up in Roxy's name.  Roxy's Magic funds equipment to help enhance the lives of disabled children like Roxy.  This equipment can be specialist or something as simple as a slide or a bike that is especially designed to allow disabled children to use, the things that as children we all took for granted!

I am no runner, in fact I hate it, so this is no easy task for me, but what excuse do I have not to do it...none!  So I have also roped in the most unlikely characters to attempt these 13 miles with me!  Roxy's Magic is a brand new charity and this is the first fund raising event, so I am hoping for lots of support to get started with a bang!
