Everyone has a story and as some of you know, mine started at the end of March 2018, my youngest of 3 daughters was just 10 months old. I was at a great stage of my working career and we had lots of plans for the year ahead. Fast forward a few weeks and a flurry of appointments later, I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer (which had spread to my spine), treatable but not curable!

Months of chemo, radiotherapy and several operations later my cancer started to behaved itself…until abnormal scans at the end of last year, confirmed in January 2021 that I had relapsed and have been re diagnosed with a spread involving my Lymph nodes (treatment currently going well).

Supporting this amazing local charity and all the fantastic work they do is very close to me and that is why 40 of my nearest and dearest are getting together to raise as much money as we possibly can.
