7.01.21 Our world was turned upside down when we were told the news no parent ever wants to hear, our baby boy had no heartbeat. 

8.01.21 at 7.25am, Alfie Levi entered the world sleeping, one day after his due date and he was just perfect in every single way, weighing a healthy 6 lbs 9. We got to spend 2 special days with Alfie thanks to the Abi Cot- a specially designed cooling cot that contains a refrigerated system. 

Experiencing a tragedy like stillbirth is something you never imagine going through and the pain is indescribable but sadly approximately 8 babies are born sleeping every day in the UK.This is why I want to fundraise to make sure other families are able to make the memories with their sleeping angels as we did with Alfie. I will treasure the time we got to spend with Alfie forever. 

The cost of an Abi cooling cot is £2,500 for manufacture, delivery and admin. As an initial fundraising effort, I have decided to set myself the challenge of walking 100 Miles in March.
