Aimee goes to Africa part 2

TRT Titans Tour · 28 October 2015
In March 2016, I flew out to Uganda with a group of 10 female rugby players from the North of England to improve women's rugby and their general wellbeing. See the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssDUfDHObeM In October, I will be doing this all over again; this time, with the amazing young adults of Hackney Quest Youth Club.
Not only is this great for the young people of Uganda but it's also the benefiting the young people on our door step. Most of HQ have never been out of England before, let alone travelled over 6000 miles to a third world country. Its going to be an amazing challenge and achievement for them too.
Why are we going? As 2nd year Television Undergraduates at Ravensbourne University, we will be there filming everything that takes place. From early morning training sessions, Fun Day school tournaments, coaching adults and young leaders to day-to-day diaries with the team. A tour like this is great but without raising awareness of Trust and the amazing work they are doing with Africa, it can't continue. By capturing the tour we are allowing people to visualise what we are doing, enabling more people to get on board and the success to continue.
How does your money help? Travel costs to Uganda aren't cheap plus the price of visa, injections and malaria tablets; as students we need all the help to fundraise enough to make this trip possible for us.
To donate, either hit the blue donate button and follow instructions from their and text TRTT60 with amount you would like to donate i.e £10 to 70070.
