My mother suffers from this awful, debilitating, neurological disease. She was diagnosed over 15 years ago, and is now in a home, in a wheelchair, unable to walk or talk. Her mum, (my Nan) died as a cause of it 24 years ago. It is hereditary. It kills of the brain cells and affects the nervous system. Huntingtons Disease Association are always doing medical research to try to find a cure. But to this day there is no cure that is 100% effective.
