Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you will know I am running the Fleet half marathon on Sunday 20th March - a distance of 13.1 miles!  Although I have been running and training for a while, this is still a massive undertaking for me, as it will be the most I have ever run!!

I am hoping to raise money for the Macular Society - Macular is a condition which affects around 250,000 people in the UK, mostly 55 and older, including my Grandma.  It causes impaired vision in the centre of their vision, so they will struggle to recognise faces, although their peripheral vision should still be ok.

Any amount will make a real difference to this charity, and the people they help, so every donation is much appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks so much!

Aimée
