Those of you who know me, know that cycling 100 miles is very not-me. In fact, physical activity of any kind is rather out of character.
However, I did love my mum more than anything. So if turning myself into a lean, mean, cycling machine will help me raise money for causes very close to our hearts in her memory, I'm more than willing.
After over four years, she lost her battle to breast cancer on the 20th May 2013 and we all miss her everyday. Hopefully, I can raise the funds to make a positive difference in the lives of people who face what she did, and you never know - I might even enjoy the ride!
Thank you all for your support, whether it was all those years ago in the beginning or now.
