Last year my sister heather and brother in law steve found out they were expecting their second baby. During a routine scan, it was picked up that the baby was going to be born with a cleft lip. This was a worring time for them and last last summer they became the proud parents of a beautiful little boy called isaac. About 3 weeks ago isaac had his first operation and the docs did an amazing job. Unfortunately not everyone is as lucky as heather and steve. The operation only cost £150 but for many countries this is money they can't afford, operation smile goes out to these countries to do the operation and train local doctors. Heather has decided to raise money by doing a lot of challenges this year and I'm mad enough to do some with her. So far I've only signed up for a 10 k army assault course in march and a half marathon in may but I will be doing some more things too, which is a major thing for me having not exercised for about 4 years.
