On 02 July 2023, I am taking part in Parallel Windsor to raise money for Ukraine and to raise awareness of Cerebral Palsy. I have Cerebral Palsy and cannot walk without some kind of support because my muscles go from stiff to floppy in rapid succession, causing involuntary movements throughout my body.

I have been practising walking in and around my home with my walking frame in order to be able to walk around the 1k course at Windsor Castle...

On 04 March, I walked the furthest I've ever gone in my walking frame and I am hoping to build up the distance I walk each time... With the summer months on their way, it is going to be a struggle to keep this going because the heat makes my involuntary movements more pronounced, but I will be determined to cross that finish line on my own two feet (and four wheels 😂)!
