Story

Hello Family and Friends

Here I am again - this will be my 4th GNR!! In a row! This year is even more special as we have TEAM SMITH running, my sister Carol and brother Graham are running too. I'm truly amazed that they agreed when I suggested that I entered them. Carol and I are running for the Stroke Association and Graham for Diabetes UK ( I ticked the wrong box!! but it's a great chartity too).

We're 'Running for Rita', it's almost three years since we lost our lovely Mum, we miss her every day. We know that she'd be thrilled to see all three of us in the race and raising money for a charity which has touched our family.

There's been a bit of sibling rivalry with training but Carol and I have decided to let Graham win!!! We've got lots of friends joining us too so it's going to be a fun weekend.

Thank you so much for supporting us. Lots of love from TEAM SMITH xxx

TEAM SMITH UPDATE

Thank you all so much we have raised £1045 for The Stroke Association and £405 for Diabetes UK. There are still donations coming in!

We've had a great weekend with a big gang of friends all taking part and running for lots of charities.

Graham's time was 2:07:25

Aileen's time was 2:10:15

Carol's time was 2:43:25

We all made it without injury so normal life will resume until about Feb next year when the training will start again.

THANK YOU for your support, god luck messages and cash. Best wishes from us all and especially for remembering Rita xx
