jaxons bike ride

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Just a quick run through off why I'm trying to raise money for such a good course,
In September 2020 during covid, my wife lost her 5 year battle with cancer. She spent the final 2 weeks of her life in the care of the amazing staff at St Giles hospice, who made sure she was comfortable and that her family were able to see her as much as possible during all restrictions that we were all going through at the time.
She left behind her son Jaxon who had always known mommy to be poorly and is as strong and brave as his mom was and is doing her proud every day.
During the 6 week holidays I taught Jaxon how to ride his bike and it gave us both a great idea. On may 27th which would have been the day before his mom's birthday, Jaxon is going to do a 15 mile bike ride around a near by tourist attraction called Chase Water. He is so excited about the idea of making a difference to other families going through what we did and it makes me so proud that he has decided to do this. It really does show the attitude and character of this strong little boy.
Jaxon is 7 years old and lost his mom on his first day of school. He has never let it define who he is and although we both have our moments we have got stronger together and know we are there for each other.
I have decided not to choose an amount to try to get to, as what ever we make will be useful and I'm already so so proud of my little boy for doing it. What ever we make is just a bonus.
