We are taking part in the 10k in memory of our blue eyed boy Aidan. Aidan was born on 17/5/02 and was a happy normal child, in fact he was a real live wire. Unfortunately at the age of 5 Aidan was diagnosed with Late Infantile Battens Disease and slowly lost his abilitty to walk, speak, see and eat. He faught this horrid disease hard but unfortunately passed away at Robin House on 3/8/12. Throughout his illness he was a regular visitor to Robin House, one of only 2 childrens hospices in Scotland.

Robin House is a charity that operates mostly with volunteers and receives no government funding and without them my family would not have known how to cope. The staff are amazing and always go that extra mile.
