Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year marks 5 years since we lost our amazing Gran to bowel cancer, and it is for this reason that throughout 2014, several of the Smyth's will all be participating in a variety of fundraising events for several different cancer charities.

In September I will be taking part in The Durty Triathlon up in Scotland to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This consists of a 750m open water swim in a chilly loch, 10km mountain biking up hills, down hills, through streams and the like, topped off with a 5km trail run.

I'm not a fan of asking people to dip their hands in their pockets, but if you've got a few quid you feel you can spare with, it will all go towards a worthy cause and be much appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
