Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 2023 · 14 May 2023 ·

The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon will take place on Sunday 14 May 2023 and has been inspired by former Leeds Rhinos captain, Kevin Sinfield OBE, and his fundraising challenges in recent years in support of his friend and team mate Rob Burrow.

Story

For the wonderful charity that is MNDA, and for my dad who was diagnosed with the disease 3 years ago, I will be running the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon.

This is a charity extremely close to me and my family, and I'm so glad to be able to try to contribute to and benefit it this way. It's a challenge I've dreamed of doing for years, and have been so focused on for for the last 4 or 5 months (mainly to make sure I beat my Dad's time!).

Having this cause to support those fighting mnd, and all their families, in the back of my mind throughout,  has made the motivation come so easily, and made the challenge seem much less significant to face.

All support to MNDA is massively appreciated, whether that be through donation, spreading awareness, or directly reaching out to those affected. Thank you!! 🧡💙
