I've decided to run the Asics Great British 10k in London on 8th July and really need your help to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support. I've decided to run for Macmillan due to the invaluable support they provided to my Grandad in his time of need and after all 1 in 3 of us will be diagnosed with Cancer in our lifetime.

77% of people diagnosed aren't given any financial information and Macmillan seeks to counteract this, with over 300 cancer support calls being taken by the team on a daily basis. £10 can pay for 20 copies of The Cancer Guide for those diagnosed, £24 can pay for a Macmillan physiotherpaist for an hour, £68 can run a Macmillan Information and Support Centre for an hour and £100 can enable the Macmillan Benefits Helpline to help patients claim up to £2,691 which they are entitled to.
