A good friend of mine has spent the last 3 years living with Crohn's. Prior to that I knew very little about the disease but from seeing the impact it has had upon a fit and active young man, restricting many day to day tasks including work and preventing participation in recreational activities such as sport that have been a huge part of his life, it has shown me that further awareness of this disease and support for NACC, like all charities, is very worth while. Stephen has spent 3 years in and out of hospital, placing his life on hold as he bids to fight and manage this chronic illness.
