Since the war started in Iraq thousands of people have been left internally displaced and are currently struggling in their daily lives. 

They live in dire conditions and are facing daily battles for food, accommodation and health care.  They are dependent upon charities, face poor sanitation, and many women are widows or struggling to look after their families with husbands being killed. 

At such large-scale crisis orphans, elderly, widows and the sick suffer most. And with Winter approaching they are even more vulnerable. 

Our aim is to distribute as many food packs as we can out there to as many families possible. With the freezing winters fast approaching we are also hoping to distribute blankets and heaters to families who are very much in need. 

Iraq is filled with widows and orphans and with winter around the corner many will be at risk of freezing to death. 

I urge you all to donate as much as possible so we can focus on these families and provide winter essentials so they can get through this deadly weather.
