Story
Founded in 1969, softball is the oldest women’s team at AIC. The program has a successful history, boasting a .603 win percentage, nine conference titles, seventeen NE10 Tournament appearances, and fifteen NCAA Tournament appearances. We’ve produced: fifty-one First Team, forty-eight Second Team, fifteen Third Team, and five All-Rookie selections; a Player of the Year, two Rookies of the Year, a Pitcher of the Year, and a Defensive Player of the Year; and AIC’s first female All-American, in 1989. And we have had just as much success in the classroom. This past season alone, seventeen players made the NE10 Academic Honor Roll, and many others have been named Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar-Athletes. We rely on the support of alumnae and fans to help provide the best student-athlete experience possible. This year’s fundraising efforts will be used to purchase a pitching machine and other equipment.
