We will do whatever it takes to help you live life as fully as you can

Story

We are excited to announce that we will be working with Macmillan as our Charity of the Year. As well as helping with the medical needs of people affected by cancer, Macmillan also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have and campaigns for better cancer care.

Neal Hooper, Managing Director - Aico “We are looking forward to working in partnership with Macmillan throughout 2019. We have several fundraising activities already organised with Kate Thomas our Regional Fundraising Manager and we are very much looking forward to taking part in these and working with Kate. Having experienced first-hand, as have many Aico staff members, the brilliant work that Macmillan carry out and the difference that they can make at a difficult time in people’s lives, we are proud to be supporting this charity to help them continue to improve the lives of those affected by cancer.”

Challenges and Events throughout 2019 include:

  • Whitchurch 10K – 07th April
  • Aico 'Horspitality' Race Night – 20th May
  • 26 Mile Jurassic Walk, Weymouth to Wareham – 15th June
  • Oswestry Midnight Ride – 20th June
  • Shrewsbury Coracle Race – 13th September
  • Ludlow Cycling Festival – 22nd September
  • Oswestry 10k – 13th October

Alex Garmston, Marketing Executive - Aico “I have never ran a 10k, however I am looking forward to challenging myself and raising money and awareness for a charity which holds great significance for me. Training is going to be vital and we are supporting each other as a team to get each other across the finishing line."

Kate Thomas, Regional Fundraising Manager, “We are absolutely delighted to be working with Aico this year. All the fundraising will go to those affected by, living with and beyond cancer.”

We really appreciate your support and thank you!
