The AIC baseball team will be back with a vengeance for the spring season. They are coming off a year that was cut short due to the coronavirus--a year in which they expected to win the NE10 championship and compete at the regional level to go to the College World Series. Thankfully, every contributing senior decided to return to complete their eligibility this season and finish what they started last season. They have worked tirelessly to bring a championship to the Yellow Jackets since they arrived on campus as freshmen. The extensive leadership of the team will be one of the many strengths the Yellow Jackets have this season. The base paths will be an area that will be fun to keep an eye on; their aggressive base-running style placed them in fourth in the nation with 3.5 stolen bases per game in 2020. They also return their top three starters and have three or four pitchers who will compete for the fourth spot. Expectations are high for the Yellow jackets at they enter the 2021 season.

With your help, we can add finishing touches on the dugouts, graphics including wrapping on the outside and logos on the inside, customized bat and helmet racks, benches, and customized windscreen on the outfield fence.

Team Fun Facts:

• We were 4th in the nation in stolen bases per game when the season was halted last year.
  
• It's the 30th anniversary of the 1991 World Series team.
  
• In 2019 Josh Aviles was named the ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove team for his defensive play in CF. He is the first AIC player to earn the honors in the 13 year history of the award.
