Fund-raising Charity Art & Fashion Auction Event for Civic Force Japan

‘Ai (❤) Heart Japan’ has been set up by a group of Japanese and British creatives based in London in order to support the swift recovery in Japan from one of the most tragic disasters in human history. The on-going adversities in that country have been heart-breaking to all of us who love and adore the Japanese people and culture.
This charity fund-raiser is a purely independent get-up and do event to raise as much monies as possible to help those most in need. The money will be raised via a blind auction of leading high profile artists and designers from around the globe and through ticket sales and a raffle. More information about the event and the artists donating work will be available at www.ai-heart-japan.org to be updated on a daily basis. The event will also feature a special music performance by coveted band Sullom Voe and complimentary food and refreshments.
Information on the selected Charity Organisation: Civic Force
The start-up of Civic Force, headquartered in Japan, originated from their experience of the Niigata earthquake of 2004.
Civic Force is a not-for-profit organization that seeks to aid in times of large domestic trouble, specializing in developing links between leaders in government and enterprise and individuals who are troubled the most. Pin-pointing and providing key resources of information, volunteers, funds, and goods, they are a “Civic Force” in times of need and are currently engaged in the Tohoku Earthquake disaster in Japan. civic-force.org
Fund-Raising scheme and Ticket Information:
The event venue will hold up to approximately 250 people with a ticket for entry at £30.00. The tickets can be purchased on the Just Giving website prior to the auction night scheduled on 13th or 14th April.
Around 40-50 donated artworks will be displayed at the venue for ticket holders to bid for in a blind auction. Raffle tickets can also be purchased at the venue at a cost of £10.00 per ticket for prizes including an Olympus camera, high quality designer scarfs and many more high value items.
All procceds from the ticket sales, auction of the artworks and raffle and will go directly to the Civic Force charity organisation. The ‘Ai (❤) Heart Japan’ website will also remain open to accept general donations after the auction night
