Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Hope Centre serves each year ver 1,000 people experiencing severe & multiple disadvantage - poverty, learning difficulties, substance abuse, mental health problems and criminal justice issues - often caused by childhood trauma: neglect and physical, mental or sexual abuse.

The Hope Centre is one of the UK's most innovative charities of its kind, helping clients move towards independent living & employment. With less than 5% of our income from public funds, it is a hard slog each year to raise the £0.5M needed to keep the centre open - and yet what we do saves the public purse a lot of money in terms of suicides, hospitalisations, court appearances, public disorder etc.

Our clients are the hardest and most difficult cases, often leading chaotic lives. We offer clients a safe haven, bring stability & order to chaotic ives, and supply training opportunities to develop self-esteem, necessary life skills and a variety of vocational training that can lead to employment.

PLEASE SUPPORT ME and the HOPE CENTRE - AS THEY SAY, EVERY LITTLE HELPS!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
