Story

Children's services in Leicester hospitals are amongst the busiest in the country yet the East Midlands is the only region in England without a dedicated children's hospital.Be a part of cementing a legacy to benefit future generations through the development of a dedicated state of the art children's hospital to serve the East Midlands.Drop of Compassion are working with Leicester Hospital's Charity and need your support to progress the initial phase of the project. Our target of £250,000 (by end of July 2020) will help achieve:- 8-bed PICU cubicle ward in the PICU ward of the LRI- 2 x Isolation HDU Rooms on the cardiac ward of the LRI, Kensington Building.- Local treatment, removing the need for children to be transferred to specialist units around the country.100% Donation Policy means all funds raised will be utilised for the development of the HDU ward.

Those of you who know me and Shoaib know we both have a penchant for excessive consumption of red meat and food in general so you know what a challenge this will be for us.

Please donate generously.
