Fundraising for Swansea Bay Health Charity
Newly formed Afan United FC will be taking on a challenge created by ourselves to raise money to support our local NHS. The challenge will be to collectively run the equivalent of the welsh coastal path which is 1400km in 18 days. There will be 11 runners taking part and on average each runner will need to complete 128km of road runs for us to complete this challenge for our wonderful NHS. We will be starting this Saturday 25th April.
Runners taking on the challenge:
Remi Whitelock, Rory McCreesh, Ryan Phillips, Tom Davies, Shaun Jones, Niall Lewis, Carl Payne, Josh Jones, Casey Thomas, Rhys Jones & Kane Devonald.
Thank you for kind donations which will support our local NHS.
The money raised through this appeal will go directly to the Swansea Bay Health Charity's Helping Hand Fund. The monies you give will not replace statutory funding - the money raised through this appeal will be used to fund ADDITIONAL items that go over and above what the NHS is providing.Local NHS professionals who understand what is most needed for our local communities, and are aware of what the NHS is already doing will decide how the money raised will be used to best benefit the service and our most vulnerable patients.
