During this month, we will be using our homes, back gardens, and daily exercise time to walk, run and cycle, to reach a target of 5 million steps, which is the equivalent 500 miles.
We are setting out to combine staying active whilst supporting one of our key charities that is close to our hearts, Ronald McDonald House Manchester.
As mental health awareness week is in May, we are extending this to an awareness month where we will remain active during this unprecedented time, for the positive benefit it has to people’s mental and physical wellbeing.
RMHC provide families with a free ‘home away from home’ which enables them to stay close by while their children are in hospital across the UK. To find out more about the charity, please visit their website.
We appreciate it’s a difficult time many people, for those who would like to donate, your contributions are very much appreciated. For every £25 raised, that will pay for one free night’s accommodation for a family at the Manchester House.
