Most of you will know that I ran the Great North Run with my beautiful wife Donna last year, dressed as a rather sexy Air Hostess. Well I'm back with a different wig and a new running partner in the shape of Paul Morris, and what a truly awful shape that is! Having seen him run, I still find it weird to watch a Scouser running without a stolen DVD player tucked under his arm!

Last year, Donna and I ran to raise money for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit of the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, and it is my charity again this year. The PICU holds a very special place in our hearts, and we shall never forget the care that was given to Ethan by the staff, who are truly outstanding.

So please don't make me go through this with Morris for nothing. We all know he's gonna be on his knees after three miles, sobbing and throwing-up, whereupon he'll learn that the Liverpool anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone" does not apply in this event. Please.......Donate now!
