Story
This year's Advent Justice Appeal has both a global and local focus.
Half of all funds raised will go to help support specific projects working with refugees internationally, as well as here in Kent - and the other half will go to aid support the work of Winter Shelters across the Diocese, which so vitally serve the needs of rough sleepers at this difficult time of year.
You can give online at www.justgiving.com/adventjustice2016 or by cheque, made payable to Canterbury DBF, with “2016 Justice Appeal” on the back and sent to Advent Justice Appeal, Diocesan House, Lady Wootton’s Green, Canterbury, CT1 1NQ. If you’re able, please Gift Aid your donations, allowing us to claim an extra 25p for every pound donated. If you're giving online, please visit www.canterburydiocese.org/donations to Gift Aid your donation.
But it’s not just about money – each day on the Diocesan website, Facebook page and Twitter account (@CanterburyDio), the Diocese will look to raise awareness of the issues facing refugees and the homeless by highlighting the organisations and stories of those most affected.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you so much for your generosity - and happy Advent!
