Help transform The Pankhurst Centre, the UK's dedicated Suffragette Museum and the home of Manchester Women's Aid, during the centenary of the first women gaining the right to vote

Story

100 years since some women got the vote, your support will help to raise awareness about the vital work we are doing to ensure that the legacy of the suffragettes is told and remembered, as part of our wider campaign for gender equality. It will help to
ensure that this significant historical building remains open to the public and continues to inspire and empower generations, and to secure the future of Manchester Women’s Aid, so that we can continue to support women and children in need today. I am running with a group of 100 women, one for each year since the vote was given to some. My great Grandmother was a suffragette and I have always been interested in the story especially being a Manchester lass.
