Myself and a group of fabulous individuals from Leadership York are working together to organize a pillow & sheet drive and collecting monetary donations to benefit Bell Socialization.

Making sure people in our community have a safe, comfortable place to sleep is important. When families are experiencing homelessness - couch surfing from one crowded and unsuitable family or friend situation to another OR sleeping in their car - rest assured they may find help through programs offered by Bell Socialization Services. Donations of new pillows and clean sheets & blankets (new or gently used) for the children and adults who reside in or receive assistance through Bell Family Shelter, Bell Bridge Transitional Housing, Possibilites, Next Step and/or NextDoor are able to use bed linens AND take them with them for their own place when they move on. Financial support enables Bell Socialization to make sure there are beds to make, good quality mattress covers for each one, and very importantly, caring staff to offer guidance and resources to set up families for success during and after their stay.
