Story
960 miles, 23 counties, 9 days, 3 countries, 2 wheels.
Hey Everyone! Do you know what happens in this September? I am taking the Ride Across Britain 2015 challenge which means me on a bike for 9 days riding nearly 1000 miles. That is tough, isn't it?
The Ride
Me and my colleagues are going to ride 960 miles in
this September across Britain from Lands End to John O'Groats. We are taking
this extremely hard challenge in order to raise money for Vodafone
Foundation. If you think this is going to be hard because of the distance, you
are wrong. The elevation will be our enemy but we all can do it!
What are we supporting?
Globally, there are millions of
refugees and internally displaced children in need of education. Displaced
children affected by on-going conflicts currently have no access to quality
education and are at high risk of never going back to school. Thanks to the
donations children and young people who live in refugee camp is the Democratic
Republic of Congo can access education through our Vodafone Foundation's Instant Network
Schools Programme.
Fundraising
Each rider, including me, is
expected to raise at least Ł3.500 so
every donation is really well appreciated.
About me
This is a great opportunity where I can
do my best, bike more than I usually do and beat my bounds while fundraising
for people who are really in need. Trainings have been started, I have
just completed my 1st half marathon on 19 April, 2015 and my new bike is on its
way! : )
Pictures will be posted soon.
Thank you very much for your time!
