I had a family that attended the practice and they had a baby born that was deaf / blind and I thought what a lonely world that must be. The charity Sense were able to help forge links, support and help this family so much.

This is why I thought it appropriate to run and raise money for this amazing charity. Please dig deep and pledge some money.

I always said after the last marathon that I wouldn't do another, but here I am trying to help others out. Pain is temporary but finishing is forever!

Sense is a national Charity that supports people who are deafblind and those with complex disabilities, to be understood, connected and valued. They are there for every person who faces communication barriers in a world that relies on being able to see and hear well to be connected. Together we can unlock barriers to communication so no one is isolated, left out or unable to fulfil their potential.
