Story
I've been looking for a new personal challenge, not wanting to do anything that includes heights or that may risk life and limb, (my wife was also quite insistent that it shouldn't be anything that includes wearing lycra), I have decided to walk the Macmillan Way.
The path stretches 290 miles, coast to coast, from Boston in Lincolnshire to Abbotsbury in Dorset and although I love walking, I've not attempted anything on this scale before. I will be walking with Oscar the dog, who will be using his nose to lead the way and I've no doubt will pull me along during those "I just can't walk any further" moments.
I am completing the walk in stages over multiple weekends, whilst walking I am taking the opportunity to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer support. So please donate generously, if not for me, then for Oscar, who will put up with my grumbling and moans and groans, with the usual quisical tilt of his head and a wag of his tail.
