This June, I will participate in a charity event to support Action Medical Research, an esteemed organisation committed to funding critical research to improve the lives of sick children.

This event, called "Race The Sun in the Brecon Beacons," is an incredibly challenging dawn-to-dusk endurance test. My team and I will embark on a 35-mile bike ride with a daunting 1000m ascent, navigate a demanding 2-mile canoe course, and then conclude the event with an arduous 8-mile round trip hike up Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons with an elevation of 886m. Our goal is to raise as much funds for this noble cause, as possible.

Action Medical Research are on a mission to save and change children’s lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures. For 70 years they have been saving and changing lives through medical research along with funding some amazing breakthroughs. They are now driving forward children’s research, including fighting rare diseases.
