Ostrich Grand National Solo half marathon for NHS Charities Together, 26 April 2020
NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

On Sunday 26th April I was due to run the London marathon. However due to the terrible effects of COVID-19 this has been delayed until October and we can only hope that the world is a safer place for the event to go ahead by then. However in support of the amazing efforts of the NHS frontline workers in responding to COVID-19 I have decided to bring out the Ostrich Grand National again (embarrassing costume visible for all to see), and run this as a solo half marathon, socially distanced at all times across Birmingham on Sunday 26th April in support of NHS Charities Together.

Please support, stay home and stay safe
