Story

A year ago, on 28th July 2013, heaven opened it's doors to my Uncle Martin who was taken from this earth too early at the age of 65, when he lost his short battle with an aggressive form of Prostate Cancer.

I'd grown up living next door to Uncle Martin,  Auntie Marion and my three wonderful cousins ever since I was born.  He was like a second father to me.  He was as strong and determined a man as they come and he fought this horrible disease to the bitter end.  And I remember that despite everything he went through, he could always crack a smile and roar with laughter.  He fundamentally believed that "life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."  No more was that philosophy lived out, than through my Uncle Martin.

So this one's in memory of you big guy and hopefully we can raise lots of money together to help as many people as possible in their battle against Prostate Cancer.  Love you and miss you lots xx
