This summer I will be volunteering for 3 months in a community in Nigeria to support the livelihoods of local people. The main aim of the project is to incorporate young people into the agricultural sector, this is especially important for the economy of Nigeria as the median age of the population is below 18. I will be working with children in schools to raise awareness about careers in agriculture and working alongside those already working in the agricultural sector.
